Entry #1 Title: Top of the Line Kitchen Offers Storage
Design Objectives: The main objectives of the remodel was to create more storage and design an open, updated kitchen that is not only functional, but beautiful.
To create more storage, the island was designed to be much larger. This enabled the client to incorporate seating and house the wine refrigerator in the island. With a chandelier above, the island is now a beautiful focal point of the room.
A desk was also created to provide the client with a place to work. Additional storage was realized with the installation of full extension, roll out pantry shelves and adjustable shelving in the wall cabinets. Cherry wood cabinets compliment the wood flooring, and the ceiling height was changed to accommodate tall crown molding and create a more open appearance.
Entry #2 Title: Bright Master Bathroom Offers Storage
Design Objectives: The main objectives of the remodel were to design an open layout, allowing more light into the room and to create more storage space, giving the room and updated look.
In order to allow in more light, the soffit above the bathroom sinks was removed and two sets of brush nickel light bars were installed. The tiled shower wall was also removed and replaced with a frameless glass enclosure. The shower not includes a seat, recessed shelf and hand held shower head. The bathroom now has a large, bright shower and comfortable soaking tub. To create more storage, an angled wall was removed near the sit down vanity. This created room to install a tall linen closet. The vanity’s glazed cabinets match the vanity and tie in nicely with the rest of the bathroom.
