The area has easy access to I-15, SR-56 and the I-15 "fast lane" making it an easy commute to downtown metropolitan offices and other employment centers. Carmel Mountain Ranch is commonly known as CMR. The community features a large shopping center, Carmel Mountain Plaza. There are approximately 12,000 residents who make Carmel Mountain home, enjoying its proximity to recreation, shopping and its convenient location mid-county.
