FIELD MARKETER JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:   The purpose of this position is to assist the General Manager to cost effectively drive non-media lead generation and local awareness through the following marketing tactics: events/shows, showrooms, corporate partnerships, community groups, job site marketing and more in a region within a one-hour drive from home. Helps staff events, including scheduling in-home appointments and conducting product demonstrations, as required.

This includes training the staff to work at events.

Duties:

  • Calls Manager at beginning of shift to “clock in" for shift.
  • Greets and informs as many people as possible in the store, booth or exhibit area by following company script, resulting in collecting the minimum required number of leads per hour.
  • Has an excellent working knowledge of all Company products and is able to demonstrate features and benefits.
  • Makes sure that lead slips are filled out completely and accurately, puts all leads collected during shift in company provided envelope and ensures delivery to manager and reports the daily count of qualified leads via email or phone as required by Management.
  • Assures that displays are in good working order and are neat and clean. Reports and problems with company display to Supervisor to ensure repair. 
  • Conducts oneself in a professional manner while on-duty at all times.
  • Adheres to all policies as outlined in company employee manual, as well as, all policies regarding conduct at retail locations, fairs, festivals, and shows as outlined in new hire packet and training sessions.
  • Adheres to company dress code policy and wears company-approved clothing and nametag while on duty.
  • Participates in meetings as requested by Management and attends all training sessions as required by Management.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned
  • Physical requirements:
  • Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Occasionally lift up to 80 lbs

Travel requirements:
Event Marketer is expected to provide their own transportation to and from shows. On occasion it may be necessary to travel from one show to another and this is the responsibility of the show demonstrator. All parking fees must be submitted for re-imbursement within 14 days of date paid and must be the low cost option within reason.

Outside Sales Representative/Budget Bath & Kitchen

We have an immediate opening for an Outside Sales Representative in our Budget Bath & Kitchen Division.

As a Sales Representative within our company you will:

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate the Budget Bath & Kitchen System, adhering to Remodel Works/Budget Bath & Kitchen’s Selling System so it reflects the needs of the consumer while building a quality commission sale
  • Turn in accurate lead dispositions to sales management
  • Maintain Remodel Works/Budget Bath & Kitchen required ratios for in-home sales presentations in order to maximize the potential conversion to net sales
  • Maintain the desired closing ratios as required to maximize sales potential
  • Design and price bathroom & kitchen projects with clients  
  • Ensure are all contracts are complete with respect to required documentation, and are legible and accurate. Make certain that the client understands the contract and confirms that all pertinent elements have been reduced to writing
  • Generate additional revenue through add-ons, referrals and canvassing
  • Performs related duties as required 
  • No overnight travel

Required Skills:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with associates, managers, clients and others
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to lift and carry product sample display cases (occasional lifting of sample cases that individually do not exceed 45 lbs., depending upon product, sample case weight can range from 5-45 lbs.) 
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, stretch, twist, reach and climb
  • Ability to work in excess of 50 hours a week 
  • Ability to establish priorities, negotiate contracts and communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) 
  • Ability to represent the Remodel Works/Budget Bath & Kitchen in a business-like and professional manner as described in the Sales SOP
  • Proficient skill in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Lead Tracking and customer relation management software 
  • 2 Years In Home Sales Experience required
  • Must own a reliable vehicle
  • Possess vehicle insurance
  • Own a laptop computer or an iPad
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays
